Wastewater treatment includes both public and private facilities designed and built for commercial, agricultural and industrial facilities; as well as institutions and multi-family developments. These wastewater systems include traditional treatment facilities as well as biological and wetland-based solutions. Some systems are designed to incorporate water reuse for irrigation, industrial cooling and process water, recreational and other non-potable purposes. Other hybrid systems combine waste to energy systems using the residual solids as feedstock to produce biogas for distributed power generating systems, which can power the facilities where the wastewater came from or nearby municipalities.
Catalyst works closely with the designers, operators and project developers to provide cost-effective financing options for on-site wastewater treatment facilities.
